Key Race Information: Sylvania Off Road Class 11 Showdown

The Sylvania Offroad Class 11 Showdown presented by Slowride Garage will be held Saturday, January 31, after the conclusion of the desert race. With $5000 paid to the winner and a heap of other amazing prizes, thanks to the Slowride Rolling Chassis Pick a Part, get ready to race and then party the night away. Racing will be over a hybrid short course and desert track in the hills above Hammertown. The entire track will be visible from Hammertown. A card draw will be conducted for the start position, and the start will be a land rush grid start (4 or 5 wide by 5 or 6 deep) from behind Means Bute and launching onto the famous Hammertown Short Course. Laps will be approximately 2 to 3 miles each. We will race for 40 minutes PLUS one lap. There will be a pit available in Hammertown if you require it.

Tech and Contingency will start at 1 pm in Hammertown, followed by a pit party. Drivers Meeting at 4 pm. The race will start at 5 pm.

You can pre-run the lap on Thursday afternoon or Friday afternoon after Limited Qualifying. You will not be able to pre-run on Saturday while the Desert Challenge is running.
