Whether you’re part of the Pit Crew, a Co-Driver, competing in King of the Motos, or taking on the ULTRA4 and Desert Challenges, this guide will walk you through every step of the process to get you onto the lakebed. Follow the instructions below to register to race, secure your race numbers and required licenses.

DRIVERS:
Ensure that registration is completed using the Driver of Record’s name.

SECURE YOUR RACE NUMBER

If you are a new competitor or have not raced Ultra4 in 2025, email Ultra 4 Racing with the following information:

  • Full first name, last name and phone number of the Driver of Record
  • Class and subclass you are racing
  • 3-5 preferred numbers in order of preference

Licenses must be purchased before arriving at the lakebed and will be verified on site.

  • If you are racing more than one class, select the higher class under the “Race Class” section.

  • Medical insurance information
  • Car details (including OEM, motor, tires, wheels, shocks, etc.)

UPLOAD YOUR W-9 FORM

A new form is required annually for purse payouts.

Your registration includes: 1 competitor wristband for the Driver of Record, 1 race vehicle pass, 3 vehicle passes (truck/car/UTV/moto), and 1 RV pass.
Note: Additional drivers must follow the co-driver procedures below.
