Qualifying for 2013 King of the Hammers

The top 20 finishers in the 2012 Griffin King of the Hammers have already solidified their position in next year’s big show.
Qualifiers for the 2013 KOH event will work as follows for 2012:
The top ten drivers from each Ultra4 race in 2012 will find themselves qualified for the 2013 King of the Hammers. As teams become qualified less finishers will qualify. Considering it is likely that some teams will continue to find themselves in the top ten at races throughout the year, Hammerking will guarantee that at least 3 drivers from each event will qualify in 2012. Due to more races in 2012 Hammerking has moved the number of guaranteed spots from 5 to 3 this year.  It is highly likely by the end of the season to see drivers qualifying outside of the top 10.
OG 13 drivers may continue to exercise their rights to a grand fathered position in the race, but the number of OG drivers has significantly decreased over the last 5 years. Hammerking does not allow OG 13 spots or pre-qualified spots to be sold.
