PRO COMP ANNOUNCES RACER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Compton, California (December 22, 2015) – Pro Comp has announced the launch of its Tire Racing Program to offer special pricing to participating drivers on select Xtreme MT2 tires for a variety of off-road racing categories. Pro Comp’s Kevin Adler will helm the new program which caters to many popular off-road racing divisions including Ultra4 Legends, Modified, Stock, and various desert racing classes.
In 2016, the program will kick off its support of racers and teams with the 10th anniversary of the popular King of the Hammers event in addition to other races that will be announced throughout the year. As part of the program, Pro Comp will supply two 18×5-inch decals for race vehicles, Pro Comp apparel and event banner for all approved registrants.
“I’m very excited to get this program off the ground and we’ve set goals for it, but most importantly, we’ll be taking care of our racers and fulfilling their tire needs,” said Adler. “With this initiative, we are increasing Pro Comp’s presence in motorsports by supporting many of off-road racing’s most popular classes.”
The development of the Pro Comp Xtreme MT2 tires and their emergence in desert racing sparked the program’s creation. Having been tested over the course of the last two years, the Xtreme MT2 has withstood thousands of miles of desert racing competition. With drivers such as Aaron Celiceo and his Racing 905 Team, Mike Johnson and Brandon Heyes putting them to the test, MT2 tires have tackled the harshest conditions while earning multiple podiums along the way.
As one of the first drivers to take advantage of this new program, rookie Ultra4 racer Robert Hutcheson will compete at King of the Hammers in the 4800 class. Additionally, these other teams that have been competing on Pro Comp tires for the past several years are scheduled to return and benefit from the program as well.
To register, racers may email Kevin Adler at kadler@tmgroupusa.com and include contact info, a team profile, vehicle class, race number and tire size. Program participants should also provide Pro Comp with any image or video content of their race team/driver/vehicle to be featured on Pro Comp’s social media channels and other marketing related assets. This content can be submitted to Coelette Chenier at cchenier@tmgroupusa.com.
