Hooligan Rock Crew Supports Children’s Miracle Network at Cinco de Baja
Hooligan Rock Crew Ultra4 Racing team Supports Rock’n for the Kids and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in upcoming 2012 Cinco De Baja race in New Mexico, USA.
(Sacramento, CA – 25th April 2012) Up-and-coming Ultra4 team the Hooligan Rock Crew are pleased to announce they will be helping raise awareness and donations for Rock’n For The Kids and the Children’s Miracle Network at the upcoming 2012 Cinco De Baja 200. The Cinco de Baja 200 is hosted by the New Mexico Off Road League (http://www.nmorl.com) on May 4th and 5th 2012, and is the first race in the Trail-Gear Western Regional Ultra4 Series. More info on the event can be found here,http://ultra4racing.com/category/cincodebaja/.
Fresh from the team’s finish at this year’s King Of The Hammers in the new #4494 Bomber Fabrication Ultra4 rock racer, driver Chris Garrison and co-driver Darin Floyd, with the support of Mike Foster of wrapconcept.com, will be putting a new wrap promoting the charities on the side of their buggy. Darin says “Working with Mike Foster to develop a new wrap for the racecar has been real eye-opening for me. Mike has a 2 ½ year old son that has been in and out of the hospital since birth and has had many surgeries to help correct his condition.”
Mike Foster’s young son Rylan has had health issues his entire life, so he developed Rock’N For The Kids as a way of bringing attention and raising money for the Children’s Miracle Network. Mike raced his Ultra4 buggy in a number of races last year with a wrap promoting the two causes. However, due to ongoing medical issues with his son, Mike put a call out to fellow Ultra4 racers to help in his stead.
The Children’s Miracle Network is dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for 170 children’s hospitals across North America, and since 1983 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised more than $4.4 billion in donations.
Darin Floyd of the Hooligan Rock Crew – “I am really excited and proud to be able to help raise awareness for the Children’s Miracle Network through Rock’n for the Kids. Having a young daughter myself, and Chris expecting his second child any time now, you never know when something may happen and you may need the type of support offered by Children’s Miracle Network.”
