Marketing Seminar for KOH Participants: “Social Media 101: Market like a Professional”

Social media helps grass roots race teams promote and market like professional teams. With little more than a cell phone and computer, anyone can create an impressive marketing campaign for next to nothing. Hammerking Productions has asked Shannon Welch, the marketing force behind the Ultra4 team, Big Ugly Racing, to speak to race teams and the offroad community on creative ways to use social media for marketing purposes. Those interested in learning how to effectively use social media are encouraged to join Shannon for a 1 hour seminar in Hammertown on February 9th from 5-6PM in the Pirate Tent. This seminar is being offered free of charge and anyone with a wrist band is welcome to attend.
Shannon will offer tips on how to use social media platforms like Facebook, Youtube and Twitter to create an online presence sure to draw fans, sponsors and/or customers. The seminar will focus on attracting target audiences and keeping their interest, critical dos and don’ts of social media and how to make the most of time spent using the various platforms. She’ll also show free tools that allow anyone with a social media site to provide potential investors with real data on the demographics of their fan base. This type of data is critical in helping potential sponsors see the value in investing in a team.
This seminar is one of several free seminars being offered by HammerKing throughout the week of King Of the Hammers. For more information on additional classes please see the official King of the Hammers 2011 Schedule listed on the Ultra4racing.com web site.
