More than 40 King of The Hammers Teams Competing in DynoMax Contingency Program

 DynoMax Brand Makes KOH History through Popular Payout Program, Competitors Installing DynoMax Race Bullet Muffler for KOH
Monroe, MI, Jan. 2, 2014 – DynoMax® Performance Exhaust and its ULTRA4 contingency program has made ULTRA4 racing history as more than 40 teams will be participating in the popular payout program at the 2014 King of the Hammers (KOH) Presented by Nitto Tire race. DynoMax – a popular performance exhaust brand that’s been a part of the KOH race scene since 2010 – is ULTRA4 Racing’s Official Exhaust Sponsor.
“As the race draws closer, we’re seeing teams sign up daily in the contingency program. DynoMax products have powered nearly every King of the Hammers champion across the finish line, and we’re excited to continue that tradition,” said Chris Gauss, sales and marketing manager, performance brands, Tenneco. “King of the Hammers and ULTRA4 racing gives us great insight into future products and provides a great environment for product testing.”
Four former “Kings” – Shannon Campbell, Jason Scherer, Loren Healy and Erik Miller – are participating in the 2014 contingency program. Most of the participating teams are running the brand’s popular Race Bullet muffler. The Race Bullet muffler features a compact, round, straight-through design for maximum exhaust flow and power. The Race Bullet muffler is aluminized for longer life, features CRF technology for maximum sound control and can flow in any direction. It is ideal for tight clearance installations and is lightweight.
The contingency program is available to competitors racing in the main ULTRA4 race or the Smittybilt Everyman Challenge running a DynoMax exhaust and decal. The 2014 program includes these payouts:

$2,500 payout to the KOH ULTRA4 “King” utilizing a DynoMax exhaust and 10-in. DynoMax decal
$750 payout to the Smittybilt Everyman Challenge Modified Class winner utilizing a DynoMax exhaust and 10-in. DynoMax decal
$750 payout to the Smittybilt Everyman Challenge Stock Class winner utilizing a DynoMax exhaust and 10-in. DynoMax decal
