Jeep® Named First Official Vehicle of ULTRA4 Racing and 2017 King of The Hammers
January 12th , 2017 – (Temecula, CA) – Hammerking Productions, Inc is pleased to name Jeep as the Official Vehicle of ULTRA4 Racing. This is the first time that ULTRA4 has partnered with a vehicle manufacturer. The partnership includes expanded Jeep presence during King of The Hammers (KOH) race week taking place February 3rd – 11th, 2017 in Johnson Valley, CA. The new partnership also increases the Jeep brand’s involvement throughout the 8-race ULTRA4 season. Both King of The Hammers and the ULTRA4 series will be featured throughout a 15-episode television series on NBC Sports scheduled to air in the summer of 2017.
“We couldn’t think of a better fit than Jeep for our first automotive partnership.” said King of The Hammers founder Dave Cole. “Jeep is synonymous with 4-wheel drive and off-road and ULTRA4 is unlimited 4-wheel drive racing. Many of our drivers got their start by taking their Jeeps off-road. Johnson Valley, during King of The Hammers week might be the world’s largest Jeep parking lot. Our drivers, teams and fans are all hardcore Jeep enthusiasts. This partnership is going to be an exciting collaboration for everyone involved.”
“The Jeep brand has set the standard around the world for off-road capability – having conquered more terrain and allowed our owners to experience adventures that can only be experienced with the most capable production vehicles on the planet,” said Scott Tallon, Director – U.S. & Global Jeep Product Marketing. “Ultra4 racing has built a reputation of devising some of the toughest off-road races in the world. For the competitors to be successful their vehicles must be tough, they must be durable, and they must be able to conquer all manner of off road obstacles, including slow speed rock crawling and high speed desert runs. These are the same attributes that Jeep owners demand and that we design and build into every Jeep vehicle. The race organizers, the competitors, and the spectators all have huge capability demands on their vehicles. Jeep vehicles are built for these people – this event is the perfect place for the brand to be.”
This year (2017) marks the 11th annual Nitto King of The Hammers Powered by Optima Batteries.
