ULTRA4 Racing and Bill Baird Motorsports have just guaranteed a $2000 purse to the winner of the UTV Pro Class at the Sturgis Off-Road Blowout in Kentucky! If you haven’t already registered to race in Kentucky, see all the details below!
Want to race your UTV at one of our upcoming races?
Here’s a step-by-step guide to help make it happen!
1.Make sure your UTV meets our tech rules and you have proper safety equipment.
Classes have been simplified to Pro and Sportsman for 2014. Pros will be racing for a purse and Sportsman will be racing for a trophy. Please consult the ULTRA4 2014 Rulebook section 6.6 for UTV rules.
2. Create a driver profile at www.ultra4racing.com/races and register for the appropriate race
The process is straight forward, but should you get stuck, we have created these step-by-step registration instructions. If you already registered to race during KOH Week, please use your same login and password. If you have any questions registering, please email Shannon Welch at Shannon@ultra4racing.com
3. Pay for your race
The address to send checks to and online payment options are all available once you have registered online and signed up for the event.
For UTV Sportsman the cost is $200 if paying via check or $206 if paying online. This is a trophy only class.
For UTV Pro the cost to race is $450 if paying via check or $463.50 if paying online. If 3 or more UTV Pros race,Guaranteed $2000 Purse for Sturgis Off-Road Blowout to the winner!
4. Sign up for USAC Insurance
All drivers and co-drivers MUST have either annual or single use USAC insurance purchased. Pre-purchasing your USAC insurance saves tons of time on site. Please visit www.usacracing.org to purchase your insurance before the race! Cost for a single event is $85 for both driver and co-driver. You are not required to have a co-driver.
5. Be prepared for transponder rental fee and pit crew costs
At most races, if there is a transponder rental for scoring, the cost is $25. The cost for pit crew members is also $25 which includes their entry into the race. But you will want to consult the driver info for each individual race to see if there are any special instructions, by clicking here and selecting the race you want to enter.
