Ryan Thomas joins the Ultra4 Racing team

It is with great honor and excitement that I am able to announce that Ryan Thomas has been hired as the President of Ultra4 Racing.  Ryan has literally worked and lived in the Off Road Industry his entire life, most recently as Director of Product Sales for Jackson Motorsports Group.  The move is the next step in the evolution of Ultra4 Racing and King of the Hammers in the mission to be better aligned and poised for growth and continuity.
Ryan’s indoctrination into the Off-Road industry began as a boy when his father purchased Chenowth Racing Products in 1979. From head floor sweeper to general manager, he was intimately involved with all aspects of running the family business until his father’s passing in 2007.  Ryan also served as the Director of the southern division of Wide Open Baja in Cabo San Lucas for 10 years sharing the magic of Baja through Off Road Adventures with thousands of clients.  His love for Off Road naturally led to racing and he was successful in the driver’s seat as well, winning five Baja 1000 titles. “To say I am excited about joining the team at Hammer King Productions would definitely be an understatement.” Ryan shared. “I am honored that Dave reached out to me and truly believe there are some great things on the horizon for our drivers, fans and sponsors in 2020”.
Winning races doesn’t necessarily translate to success in business.  However, Ryan’s leadership and teamwork, coupled with his entrepreneurial approach, made him the number one choice to lead us into the next phase of our evolution.  Those that have known me through the years know that I have made the best decisions I could to help grow our brand in both terms of consumer activation and marketing partners, all while staying true to our most important client, the Racers.  I am proud of where we have come from, where we are now, and am unbelievably excited for where we are going.  Ryan will round out an incredibly strong team of men and women dedicated to making Ultra4 Racing the premier Off Road Racing series in the world.
You aren’t getting rid of me yet. I will still be CEO of Hammerking Productions and continue to look for new ‘dumb’ ideas to expand our brand and offerings while working directly with Ryan, JT Taylor (Global Race Director), Alan Johnson (Marketing and Communications), and our entire team.  I am thankful for every experience and memory this ride has given me and I look forward to adventure ahead.
 See you on the Lakebed
 Dave
