Erik Miller Qualifies First for Tomorrow’s Race!

Today’s qualifying course saw 37 of the 40 registered ULTRA4 drivers attempt to qualify at the front of a the pack for tomorrow’s race on a course that will be tight with few opportunities for passing! It was a day of ups and downs for many drivers. no one was hurt, but more than one competitor ended up rolling during qualifying. While former King, Erik Miller laid down the fastest time of the day, both former King, Shannon Campbell and reigning King, Loren Healy experienced difficulties in qualifying. Healy had a very fast run going until his vehicle hopped in the last major rock section and landed him squarely on his front diff, forcing him to winch. Campbell broke something in his rear axle forcing him to DNF. Other fast drivers included Jason Shipman and Wayland Campbell.
Drivers will be starting tomorrow’s race one at a time, 30 seconds apart. The race begins at 9AM Central time, and will be broadcast live from Superlift Park at www.ultra4racing.com/live
