Race of Kings Lap 3 Challenge

To celebrate 20 Years of racing at King of the Hammers, competitors in the UTV Hammers Championship and Every Man Challenge are given to opportunity to battle the untamed rock trails of Lap 3 Race of Kings. With no pre running available and the hardest rock trails of the Hammers Lap 3 represents the ultimate battle of man, machine and rocks.


Rules:

  • To be eligible to enter the Lap 3 Challenge competitors must be an official finisher of the 2026 UTV Hammers Championship or 2026 Every Man Challenge. Competitors who do not finish the entire course or finish after official time are not eligible.
  • Competitors wishing to take on the Lap 3 Challenge must enter in person at Race Ops prior to 8pm Friday 6th February 2026. Competitors will be required to pay a fee for tracking equipment.
  • Competitors will be lined up for the start based on their finishing time at the 2026 UTV Hammers Championship or 2026 Every Man Challenge. The start order will be compressed and may include a mass starting group.
  • Competitors must run all prescribed Rock Trails for Lap 3, including any trails that Race of Kings competitors are given the option to complete on Lap 1, 2 or 3 that were not part of the UTV Hammers Championship or Every Man Challenge. If a competitor is unable to complete an obstacle they must retire from the Challenge.
  • Competitors must have their own crew with a support vehicle capable of recovering them from the most difficult trails of the Hammers.
  • Strict cut off will be enforced for advancement within Lap 3, including cut of times to complete the desert section. Competitors in the Lap 3 Challenge will start after all Race of Kings competitors and be subject to the same communicated cut off times as Race of Kings.
