A Letter From Dave
I’m often asked, “Did you ever think it would be like this?” Until this year, I could honestly say yes - at least if I squinted and dreamed big.
While debates abound around the campfire, I truly believe that most of our growth has been for the betterment of our off-road culture.
Now, we’re starting a new tradition, and I’m asking for your help to make it a success.
Last year, we tragically lost a longtime fan and family member in a collision on the Lake Bed. To honor their memory and enhance safety for everyone, we’re encouraging all participants to run Vehicle Flags on any motor vehicle at the event. While this is not a requirement, it’s an opportunity for us as a community to make a real difference.
Each Vehicle Pass will include a Vehicle Flag, but feel free to showcase your own unique flags - or your favorite Buggy Whips (shameless plug). Let’s light up the Lake Bed with a united commitment to safety and community!

Thank you
